Mastery isn’t measured in time it’s built through lived experience.
You’ve heard the myth: 10,000 hours to mastery.
But in my world, it’s not about hours. It’s about projects.
Each project teaches you something about coordination, about communication, about controlling chaos. Every busted schedule, missed change order, or perfect punch
list adds to your toolbelt.
I’ve built design studios, community centers, high-rises, and humble homes. And each one sharpened a different part of me.
I call it the 10,000 Project Path. Not because you’ll actually do that many but because when you approach every job like it’s part of your training, you evolve.
You stop seeing projects as problems. You start seeing them as practice.
Field Note:
Every project is a dojo if you choose to train.
