Winter Is Honest

Today is cold.

Not Alaska cold.

Just cold.

The kind of cold that stiffens ideas.

That slows the imagination.

That makes creativity feel brittle in your hands.

In seasons like this, when you push on creativity, it does not bend.

It breaks.

Not because you are doing it wrong.

But because winter does not respond to force.

Cold weather reveals what most seasons hide.

It strips away momentum.

It removes the illusion of endless energy.

It shows you what still works when warmth, optimism, and certainty are gone.

Winter is honest.

It does not promise growth.

It does not reward enthusiasm.

It does not care about your plans.

It only asks one question.

What remains when there is no heat?
